We are looking for an Education Officer with a strong background in neuroscience to plan and develop the NAD educational programme.

The Education Officer will be employed at the NAD Executive Office with reference to the Executive Director, and your primary responsibility will be to plan and develop the educational programme in neuroscience taking the topics of the current year’s Research Columns and qualifications of the NAD PhD Fellows into account. You will be responsible for the development of all education for NADs pre-PhD year programme.

Tasks include

  • Creating, maintaining, and adjusting the NAD portfolio of educational activities
  • Following-up and/or taking initiative to the development of new PhD courses to provide PhD students enrolled in neuroscience at one of the participating faculties with the best options for research training and education
  • Practical and administrative support of PhD courses and workshops
  • Administrative support to the NAD Education and Training Committee
  • Evaluation of teaching activities
  • Collaboration with the PhD schools

About you

  • You have a master’s degree in biomedical sciences (and preferably a PhD) with a clear course curriculum in neuroscience and neuroscience-related subjects
  • You have experience within university education, development of course curricula, and course administration. In addition, experience with new teaching principles and implementation such as principles in higher education is an advantage
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in Danish will be an advantage
