The programme features Research Column meetings, networking with a poster session for junior scientists and keynote speeches by Elite Research Prize winner Professor Per Borghammer and DNRF Chair Grant recipient Professor Vijay Tiwari.

Tuesday May 9 (Junior scientists + Research Column members):

14:00-15:00: Keynote speech by Professor Vijai Tiwari: Deciphering gene regulatory mechanisms underlying brain development and its disruption in neurological disorders.

15:00-16:45: Research Column Meetings (Research Column members)

15:00-16:30: Junior scientists in NAD (NAD Fellows + Junior scientists)

May 10 (Research Column members):

9:00-10:00: Keynote speech by Professor Per Borghammer: ‘Body-first vs. brain-first Parkinson’s disease –  a new disease model to explain motor asymmetry, non-motor subtypes, and dementia’

Who can participate?

Registration is open to members of the NAD Research Columns and junior neuroscientists at Danish universities (PhD students and postdocs).

Accommodation

NAD will provide rooms for participants travelling to Aarhus for the symposium. Limited rooms available – they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
