Call for New Members: NAD Education & Training Committee

The NAD Education & Training Committee (ETC) is now open for new members. Apply to play a central role in advising educational activities across NAD!

The NAD Education & Training Committee (ETC) is now open for new members. The committee will expand to include early‑career researchers. The new ETC will consist of five senior researchers, two early‑career researchers (with more than two years of postdoctoral experience), and representation from the NAD Office.

We are therefore looking for highly motivated researchers based in Denmark who are passionate about strengthening and innovating PhD training within the neuroscience community.

What the committee does

The ETC plays a central role in advising educational activities across NAD. Its responsibilities include:

  • Advising the development of training activities for the pre-PhD NAD fellows
  • Aiding in designing new PhD courses that broaden the existing course catalogue
  • Reviewing and processing initiatives from the NAD community
  • Meeting at least twice a year to follow up on initiatives and set strategic direction

Why join?

Serving on the ETC offers an opportunity to contribute to the future of neuroscience training and to collaborate with colleagues across the community. Committee members gain hands‑on experience with strategic planning, course development, and interdisciplinary coordination—experience that can meaningfully enrich a researcher’s academic profile and broaden their professional network.

How to apply

If you are enthusiastic about helping shape the next generation of neuroscience education, we warmly encourage you to apply by sending your resume by e-mail to the NAD Office.
