The seven NAD Research Columns each represent a research area within neuroscience in Denmark. They serve as entry points to Danish neuroscience research as well as hubs for collaboration and networking – within and across columns.
Each research column is chaired by at least two speakers. Going forward, we aim to instill at least one senior researcher and one junior researcher (with at least two years of postdoctoral experience) as speakers in each column.
About the role
The research column speakers represent their respective columns and should have an overview of researchers within it. They are expected to contribute to the organisation of a mini-symposium at the annual NAD meeting, including proposing and selecting speakers and helping shape the scientific programme. Each column will also have the opportunity to organise community and networking activities with financial and practical support from NAD.
