- What
- Workshop
- When
- 11–14 August 2025
- Where
- Gl. Avernæs, Helnæsvej 9, 5631 Ebberup
The workshop will explore foundational and cutting-edge topics, spanning neuron and synapse modelling; networks and circuit dynamics; reinforcement learning and behaviour; computational psychiatry; and the intersection of computational neuroscience and AI. Workshop sessions will combine expert talks and interactive discussions with participants to foster understanding and collaboration.
Registration and practical information
The workshop is particularly aimed towards postdocs, PhD students and advanced MSc students with an interest in computational approaches to studying brain function. It would also be beneficial for young PIs aiming to learn and leverage new computational approaches in their labs. The workshop is open to active neuroscientists based at or affiliated with a Danish research institution.
Participation is free of charge, and accommodation is covered.
Bus transport will be organised from/to Odense station on the day of arrival and departure. Please indicate in your registration if you want a seat on the bus.
Session topics
- Models of neurons and synapses
- Circuit dynamics and networks
- Reinforcement learning and behaviour
- Cognition and computational psychiatry
- Artificial systems – training and decoding
Networking and social events will provide ample opportunity for building connections in an informal and stimulating setting.
