Governing Board
Purpose
The Governing Board (GB) is responsible for the overall strategy of NAD.
Tasks
GB will set and maintain the guidelines for the NAD review processes and for the Education and Training Committee. Furthermore, the GB will be responsible for the formal approval of grants offered by NAD. GB is responsible for performance of the Executive Office.
The GB will meet at least twice annually. The chair of the board can call for additional meetings if needed.
The overall strategy of NAD is set by the GB and will provide a framework and specific tasks for each NAD committee. The GB will select and approve members for all committees that will operate under NAD.
The GB will seek counselling from the Scientific Board, Executive Office and Committees. The GB chair will meet with the Scientific Director and Executive Director at least every two months.
