On May 19, the event “The Future of a Neuroscientist – in Hindsight” brought together NAD PhD fellows, PhD students and research assistants and featured talks by Stephanie Holstein-Rønsbo, co-founder and COO at Loma Therapeutics, Jacob Hecksher-Sørensen, co-founder and CEO at Vibraint ApS – Virtual Brain Technologies and Svend Erik Børgesen, CCO at CSF-Dynamics A/S. The speakers told the story of the twists and turns that led them to where they are today and shared insights on innovation, starting a business and the challenges they have encountered along the way.
We ended the day by attending The Brain Prize Lectures with this year’s Brain Prize winners Professor Patrik Ernfors and Professor David Ginty who shared their contributions to neuroscience research on touch and pain
